Chrysler WiTech Micro POD II Programming Micropod2

The wiTECH Micropod II is the latest Chrysler dealer-level diagnostic tool, replacing the existing wiTECH VCI POD and Chrysler Star-Mobile tool. It performs the same functions as the StarMobile device and wiTECH POD but supports additional protocols, including CAN 3 and LAN DoIP. This original Mopar secure Micropod II, made in the USA by Bright Star Engineering, requires a wiTECH 2 Subscription for diagnostics, and newer model cars need a TechAuthority Subscription for ECU reprogramming.

The Micro POD 2 is compatible with wiTECH software for all CAN vehicles, including Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep. It connects to a laptop via a provided USB cable or wirelessly using an optional wiTECH access point.

For those with a handheld DRB III scan tool, the Micropod is necessary for newer CAN vehicles, while the Chrysler DRB 3 can be used for non-CAN vehicles. The DRB 3 can reflash the ECU with TechTool from a TechAuthority subscription.
